« Most Valuable Contributions to Scylla Open Source » award

Alexys, our very own CTO, received the award “Most Valuable Contributions to Scylla Open Source” at the Scylla Summit held in San Francisco on November 6 and 7, 2018. During this international event, the Scylla community shared feedback and experience. The newest innovations were also announced by the Scylla development teams.

Alexys, who has 15 years of experience in the sector, gave a 25-minute talk called “Joining Billions of Rows in Seconds with One Database Instead of Two: Replacing MongoDB and Hive with Scylla”. You can check it out in the video below!

He walked the audience through the different innovations adopted by Numberly over the years. As we’re always striving to offer efficient products to our customers, constant innovation is a key component of who we are. Alexys also highlighted the benefits that Scylla brings to our daily work and also how it solved some of the problems we faced.

Congratulations Alexys on this award on behalf of all the Numberly teams! We’d also like to take this opportunity to state our attachment to the Open Source community. It’s important for us to keep bring our contributions.
