Discover the awards won by Numberly at the 2024 edition of the Trophées e-commerce!

Created by the media organization of the same name, the E-commerce Trophies recognize the best initiatives by companies in the field of e-commerce and connected retail. The prestigious awards ceremony took place on 2 July. Numberly was one of the winners in the following 2 categories:

“Data & Personalization” category: Silver Trophy

In a digital world where attempts at fraud via SMS and phone calls are increasing, it is essential for users to be able to report these abuses in order to limit them as much as possible.
To combat these fraudulent practices, Numberly has collaborated with the French Association for the Development of Multi-operator Multimedia Services and Uses (AF2M) to develop the 33700 platform. This multi-channel system allows users to report problems via an online form or a screenshot.

 

The real innovation in this initiative is the use of artificial intelligence. This is useful for three purposes:

  • adapting the conventional SMS route according to the messages received from the notifier,
  • deciphering the screenshots sent to extract relevant information,
  • identifying key words and patterns in fraudulent messages.

The 33700 has had excellent results: there has been a 120% increase in visits to the site compared with 2023, with more than 800,000 people reporting more than 3 million unsolicited messages and calls.

Innovation category: Bronze Trophy

Eram called on Numberly to test the profitability and performance of a new messaging channel, RCS. It differs from the simple SMS/MMS protocol in that it offers functions comparable to services such as Messenger or Whatsapp, while being totally independent and accessible to anyone with an Internet connection. This systems allows a greater protection for your data and an enhanced user experience, with the integration of file transfers of all types, geolocation and, above all, end-to-end encryption.

The results are very convincing when it comes to the profitability of the RCS campaign. We can see :

  • A measurable opening rate of 70%.
  • A click-through rate 2 times higher than that of SMS messages
  • A conversion rate up to 29% higher than SMS!
