For over 25 years, Sustainability has been a core value for Numberly. We are deeply commited to limiting our carbon footprint and overall environmental impact, and we engage our teams and partners in this approach. Moreover, we believe that precision is key to implementing a less wasteful and more relevant version of marketing, and we support our clients in applying this vision to their strategies.

Measuring campaign footprint with Impactly

Impactly is a tool developed by Numberly that computes the environmental footprint of CRM and Media campaigns across channels and on multiple criteria. To spread its positive impact among our ecosystem, we chose to make Impactly free to use and open to all. For our clients, we use it to measure the impact of their campaigns, and help take the right decisions to reduce the impact with best environmental practices. Discover the Impactly page.

Implementing Email Expiration dates

We take part in the Email Expiration Date initiative, which aims at reducing the impact of email storage by deleting outdated emails stored on servers. Since December 2022, we have implemented a feature on our Numberly Martech Platform that enables our clients to embed an expiration date to the emails they send from our automation platform, for them to be automatically deleted from their customers' inbox.

Ensuring Accessibility and Eco-design standards

To ensure that we comply with accessibility standards and use best practices in eco-design, we train our teams UX/UI design teams in accessible design, thanks to Urbilog, and our development and project management teams will be trained in sustainable design and lifecycle analys, thanks to the GreenIT certification training.

Optimizing and reducing the number of emails sent

To reduce the impact of our clients' campaigns, we help them implement concrete solutions:

● Lower the volume of communications sent thanks to optimized targeting
● Offer carbon reporting to measure impact and identify reduction levers

Raising awareness within teams

We support our clients in educating their employees on ESG topics, through engaging workshops like "Climate Fresk", "Digital Collage", and "Battle of AI". These interactive sessions educate teams on climate change, digital sustainability, and AI's environmental impacts, fostering deeper understanding and action.

Reducing data center footprint

We control the energy consumption of our data centers by optimizing calculation processes and algorithms. In early 2022, thanks to these efforts, we were able to remove 18 processes and cut 37 servers. We also aim at extending our infrastructures' lifetime to the maximum.

We strenghten our commiments with appropriate certifications that push us towards ambitious goals and requirements. A few of our recent ones are listed below. Additionally, in 2024, we received the CDP Score SME B for Climate.
