Faced with the climate emergency we are collectively experiencing, we support our clients in measuring and understanding the levers for reducing their ecological impact. With this in mind, we have developed Impactly, a tool that measures and provides a better understanding of how to reduce the environmental footprint of email campaigns of all kinds (service, marketing, relational, B2B, and B2C). Freely accessible at impactly.numberly.com, and also integrated directly into the Numberly MarTech Platform, this tool stands out for its comprehensive settings and multi-criteria approach, allowing users to take into account seven environmental factors representing more than 99% of a campaign’s environmental footprint and to understand the overall environmental impact of a digital strategy in order to better reduce it.

A robust methodology

A methodology based on the life cycle assessment (LCA) of digital services (described in ISO 14040-44), following the recommendations of the Product Environment Footprint (PEF) method defined by the European Commission.

Beyond CO₂ emissions, Impactly assesses the environmental footprint of campaigns using seven environmental criteria, each of which brings a specific dimension to the analysis, providing a comprehensive view of the impact.

Designed to adapt to the specific characteristics of each email campaign, Impactly allows campaigns to be analyzed according to specific criteria, providing an overview of the environmental impacts associated with each stage of the email lifecycle, from creation to reception.

A recognized evaluation framework

The tool is based on the NegaOctet database, a benchmark in the evaluation of digital services, recognized and used by ADEME (French Agency for Ecological Transition).
